BookTree Update and Events

Thanks to the Kirkland Community, our regulars, our irregulars, visitors and new customers your bookshop has continued to pay its bills and stay in business to serve you. I’m still enjoying running BookTree and I’m happy to announce that we are going to begin having LIVE in person Events.

This Friday, April 15th writer, performer, poet from Denver, Co. Gregory SETH Harris will be at BookTree (609 Market St. Kirkland, WA.). Open mic signups begin at 6:15 pm, first round of open mics begin at 6:30 pm; SETH is at 7pm; more open mics around 7:45 and we’ll end before 8:30 pm.

Our in-store book club has resumed. We are reading Winter Brothers by Ivan Doig. Copies at BookTree. We will meet to discuss the book on Tuesday May 10th at 6:30 pm.

Our Poetry Is Everything readings start up again beginning May 7th. First Saturday Free Workshop, Open Mic and Featured Poet reading. Usually the workshop begins at 4:30 to 6 pm. The readings 6:15 to 8pm. May 4th it’s is Laura Lehew and Roy Seitz (from Eugene Or.)

Special Author appearances and more are beginning to happen again.
