Happy Holidays! Events, Art, Special Holiday Gifts, Books and Gift Certificates

Many people have been discovering BookTree and doing some holiday and personal shopping! Books make great gifts and so do BookTree gift certificates!

Thank you! Continue to let others know that it’s a good and necessary thing to support local independent businesses. We have new and gently-used books and I can order and get most books that are in print within a few days. We have art on our wall that is for sale. We have unique artist created cards and special holiday themed gifts and jewelry items too! We also have Gift Certificates.

We have some events coming up this Saturday and beyond. The one that’s on the web calendar is author and ventriloquist, Andy Locke which will be fun for the entire family and happens Saturday December, 22 at 1:30 pm. Our ready for sharing Facebook Event Page is Here!

There is another very special event on Saturday evening. Friend, author and poet, Robinson Bolkum has just published part 1 of his unique epic poem in book form and we’re having a book release for him. It will be barely PG rated so the kids will okay for this one too and we have kid’s room with books and a few legos. Treat yourself to something a little different and check out Robinson’s work (6:15 pm to about 7:30 Saturday December 22nd). Please feel free to share our Facebook Event Page.

Reading Circle Book Club is reading Rules of Civility by Amor (Gentleman in Moscow)Towles. We normally meet the last Tuesday of the Month… but this time we’ll be meeting on Tuesday, January 8th at 7pm to discuss. Read the book and join us (we have copies for sale at BookTree). Event Page here!

BookTree will be open on December 24th Slightly extended hours of approximately 11 to 6:pm but we’ll stay open (and try to close at around 7pm) if there are customers still needing a book or gift certificate!). We’ll try to close around 7pm but if there are customers in the store, we’ll stay open a little later. We will be CLOSED on Christmas Day, December 25th, and also the 26th and Thursday the 27th.

We’ll close early on New Years Eve December 31st (around 6pm) and be closed January 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

There’s already a few exciting events planned for January… our Third Saturday workshop and reading will feature Michael Dylan Welch… and you can see what happens on January 11th!

Happy Holidays to you and your family!
