Your bookstore, BookTree is open. (609 Market St.).
Several regular and new customers have been visiting the store and supporting BookTree.
Times are rapidly changing. BookTree will hopefully be able to remain open.
If you want to take this opportunity to read some good books, happy to help you find them.
We're taking many pre-cautions (wiping down surfaces several times per day, we have hand sanitizers etc etc.).
We are also limiting how many people are in the store at one time (8 people or less). If we have 8 people in the store, the front doors will be locked with a sign on the door and you might have to wait 10 minutes (though it's rare we have that many in the store all at once).
If a family comes in and goes to our kid's room I'll request others wait (or get permission) before entering that part of the store.
We can order books for you. We have gift certificates (and happy to mail them). Store hours are on our Facebook Page and Website Page.
All events, gatherings, book club meetings have been cancelled until further notice.
We might offer delivery in the future (if you are within an approximate 5 mile radius of the store) -- but not yet.
Curbside Service Available
You can order books, pay over the phone, call the store when you arrive and I'll bring them out to you and put them in the trunk of your car. Often there is parking in front of the store. There's a red zone less than a block away you can 'stand in' for a few minutes.

Seniors Only Shopping
Starting Tuesday March 24th 2020 10:00 am to 12pm is designated as Seniors only shopping time. Only customers over 60 will be allowed in the store. We will still restrict the number of customers in the store at any one time to 8 or less.
