"How could I live in a town without a bookstore? What independent bookstores are is a gathering place for a community, for an exchange of ideas." -Mary Harris, Co-Founder of BookTree Kirkland

“The goal of a good bookseller is to help every book browser find a satisfying book.  It might be something new, that the browser has never heard of, or it might be what the browser already had in mind.  The only way to do this, is face to face, person to person, and in an actual book store.  It’s in my best interest to be a good book matchmaker. “  -  Christopher J. Jarmick –  Co-Founder of BookTree Kirkland
