Garth Stein, author of: The Art of Racing in the Rain; a sudden light, Raven Stole the Moon, Enzo Races in the Rain (kid's book) and others, will be sharing stories, answering questions and signing books at BookTree on Sunday September 16th at 4 pm.   A special private reception follows our public gathering.  RSVP required!

Limited seating so you will need to RSVP at 425-202-7791 during normal business hours  (If we have an over-flow, some additional book signing may take place after 5:15 pm and before private reception event).  You may see an ad in the Kirkland Reporter about this very special event.  

It's FREE but remember to try to buy a book or two so BookTree can continue to present events like this.  

If you don't know they are making a movie of The Art of Racing in the Rain (finally!).  It stars Amanda Seyfried, Milo Ventimiglia, Gary Cole, Kathy Baker, Martin Donovan and Kevin Costner (as the voice of Enzo!).  It's being directed by Simon Curtis whose latest film is Goodbye Christopher Robbin (he also directed Woman in Gold!).  

BookTree is Kirkland's only general interest new and gently-used bookstore.  We opened in November 2016 and also have gift certificates (and the art on our walls is for sale).
