Bio
Robinson Bolkum continues to share his writing, poetry and greeting card re-writes at gatherings throughout Western Washington. As he writes: "Mr. Bolkum is (in any way that matters) - pretty-commonplace, average, ordinary, simply unexceptional. He was born in the suburbs - of Who-the-Hell-Cares, Louisiana ― way after the depression. His parents were employed as dependable somethings (probably in the mail-room) at a building near town. If Bolkum had siblings, they married & raised a few kids. The kids would go on to do things that may have mattered, following the example of their parents.

Bolkum himself is emblematic of monotony. "The apple decays not-far from the tree." But he writes what needs writing, for three simple reasons. [1] He can (somehow) sense what needs writing. [2] He can (eventually) get the thing written, & [3] - he can't make a living just because he has a resemblance (in certain lighting) to Harpo Marx and so he writes.
